The results of the seventeenth update of the indicative and non-exhaustive list of Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs) were made available at the end of March 2025 at https://www.cahraslist.net/. The list is reviewed and updated on a quarterly basis.

The current list includes 28 countries and 236 regions.

Compared to previous updates in some countries there have been changes in the status of some regions that have changed from conflict-affected to high-risk areas and vice versa.

Below is a general overview of the most significant changes observed in this update.

The identification of new conflict-affected regions or high-risk areas:

  • Colombia: Caquetá
  • Ethiopia: Āfar and YeDebub Bihēroch Bihēreseboch na Hizboch
  • Lebanon: Mount Lebanon
  • Mali: Kayes
  • Sudan: Gederef, Blue Nile, Kassala, Northern and Red Sea
  • Ukraine: Chernihiv

The removal of conflict-affected regions or high-risk areas:

  • Ethiopia: Tigray
  • Philippines: Soccksargen
