The results of the eighteenth update of the indicative and non-exhaustive list of Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs) were made available at the end of June 2025 at https://www.cahraslist.net/. The list is reviewed and updated on a quarterly basis.
The current list includes 30 countries and 238 regions.
Compared with previous updates, to date in some countries there have been changes in the status of some regions, which have changed from conflict-affected to high-risk areas and vice versa, and two new countries have been identified.
Below is a general overview of the most significant changes observed in this update.
Identification of two new countries:
- Benin
- Togo
Identification of new conflict-affected regions:
- Benin: Alibori
- Lebanon: Beirut
- Nigeria: Kebbi
- Philippines: Soccsksargen
- Togo: Savanes
Removal of conflict-affected regions:
- Brukina Faso: Sud Ouest
- Nigeria: Adamawa
- Ukraine: Chernihiv
